Antelope Trailhead is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and mountain biking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are March through October. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.

If waterfalls and hiking are your thing, we highly recommend checking out the lesser know Wild Basin West Entrance to RMNP, located between Antelope Ranch and Allenspark, just off CR 7 (St. Vrain Canyon). This is a park and hike entrance.
Beaver Meadows is the traditional Estes Park entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Here you will find the visitors center just on the outskirts of Estes park and this is the entrance to take if you are planning a drive-through tour of the park and are interested in exploring Trail Ridge Road.
Trail Ridge Road is the highest continuous paved road in the United States, cresting at an elevation of 12,183 feet above sea level. TRR does close seasonally, so please confirm access at NPS.gov.
